Hi friends of One Way,
We capped off 2022 with a number of exciting investments, brought our community together in Boston and San Francisco, and hosted an aerospace panel with portfolio companies in Switzerland. We expect 2023 to be even more active!
In aggregate, our Fund I portfolio companies raised over $300M in follow-on funding in 2022 and are now valued at well over $2B.
We also added 7 startups to our Fund II portfolio in 2022. They are Instock, Quantivly, Provision, Axle, Ezpapel, Qashio, and an unannounced company.
In 2023, we are continuing to write $500k - $1.5M pre-seed and seed checks in logistics, fintech, digital health, and deeptech companies. As always, please refer exceptional immigrant founders to us!

New Investments in Q4
Qashio
Qashio is a comprehensive enterprise spend management platform for businesses to manage expenses and payments with software-enabled corporate cards and all-inclusive accounts payable automation. The company was founded by Swedish immigrant and ex-Oracle/Delivery Hero, Armin Moradin and Chinese immigrant, Jonathan Lau.
We were impressed by the team’s deep network in the MENA region, their first-hand experience with this problem, and their track record of founding and growing startups. We knew that enterprise spend management is years behind in the MENA region and knew from our experience with Brex that there is a tremendous opportunity for a localized solution. There’s no better team to capture this market than Jonathan and Armin.
Stealth Biotech Startup
An exciting biotech company developing allogeneic cellular immunotherapies for cancer using natural killer cells.
Even though we don’t typically make biotech investments, our strong relationship with the CEO and his passion for our immigrant founders mission, allowed us to consider an exception. As we got to know this world-class team, we were offered the chance to invest alongside a number of leading biotech investors and took the opportunity.
